Challenge of Tarrant County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness is partnering with The Daily Well to offer a free series of Trauma-Informed Yoga lessons to the community.  This program, originally funded through a federal grant, aims to reduce stress and promote health and wellness by addressing the effects of trauma and job-related stress resulting from the pandemic.

Thanks to the funding obtained through the Health and Human Services Commission, Challenge of Tarrant County has expanded and is sustaining this program to everyone everywhere who has internet services without the need for additional funding.

Here at Recognize & Rise, we are happy to be a part of this noble initiative to support the health and wellness of our community.  With our experience and expertise in mental health issues in Tarrant County, we hope to contribute toward the success of this program by helping our partners expand their reach to participants in the digital space.

We believe that our collaborative work will help bring about impactful and lasting change in the lives of those affected by the pandemic.  With our support, program participants can learn how to access these online yoga classes to learn how to release stress from the body before it lingers and manifests into illness.

The series will consist of 20 free on-demand yoga classes taught by four, certified trauma-informed yoga instructors, two of whom are also licensed mental health professionals. Together, we are thrilled to provide everyone with this program focused on healing and well-being free of charge.  Join us as we empower one another on this transformative journey.

Instead of carving out the time, money, and energy to find a yoga studio, practice yoga at home on your own — at any time.
